Frequently Asked Questions

Once you submit a booking request for an activity, we will confirm the availablilty within the 24 hours. If the request is declined, the booking will be canceled; we will offer an alternative date. If the request is accepted, you will receive an email with details of a payment request. You will have 24 hours to proceed with the payment and confirm the booking. When the booking is paid we’ll send you a booking confirmation with the contact details of the provider. If you fail to pay within the terms, the booking request will be canceled. If you wish to book again you will have to send another booking request. Your booking is not confirmed until we have received the payment.

Instant booking allows you to book an activity immediately. Once you select the Book now option, your booking will be automatically approved. You will receive an email with booking confirmation and the contact details of the provider. The provider won’t be able to cancel the booking unless there is a justified cause.

The cancellation terms for activities are listed on each activity description page according to what the provider is offering. There are 2 regular cancellation terms: free cancellation up to 3 days before the activity day or free cancellation up to 7 days before the activity day.

In case of bad weather you will be contacted by the activity provider who will reschedule the activity date or, if not possible, will contact us to arrange for a refund.

There are no extra costs when you book an activity on the Travit platform, unless explicitly stated in the activity description e.g. renting equipment on site, or additional services on arrival.

Any person or company which organizes activities, workshops, experiences or events can join the platform and promote their offer to our audience.
